Arnold & Frączek Percussion Duo
They have won awards and scholarships and performed solo in major concert halls, such as Carnegie Hall in New York and the Kennedy Center in Washington. They studied in the best higher education institutions in Poland and the USA. In 2020, guided by a common passion for playing percussion instruments, they formed a duo that is very active both in Poland and abroad, with its ‘haven’ being their hometown of Cracow.
The musicians do not limit themselves to any particular group of percussion instruments, but their shared fascination with melodic instruments has resulted in the soothing sounds of the marimba and its metal brother – the vibraphone – becoming the ensemble’s sonic showcase. Tomasz Arnold is also a composer; you can find his works on this album.
